By placing an order on our website you agree to our standard Shipping and Refund Policy: Please provide a complete shipping address to ensure delivery. The final shipping costs may be different for drop shipments (orders shipped by our suppliers, usually for items we don't have in stock). If there are any additional charges, we will contact you prior to shipping. Typically, there will not be additional shipping charges, since shipping costs are determined by UPS in Real-Time during the checkout process inclusive of the drop shipments. International orders (including to Canada) may incur import taxes and duty fees upon product arrival. Unclaimed international packages must be returned to us and the buyer is responsible for the shipping and/or any other charges. The shipping rate charged by The Auditory Scene, Inc. is only intended to cover the freight. Additional charges may apply that the addressee may be required to pay directly to the carrier, including import taxes and duty fees. For same-day shipping, orders must be completed by 12:00 noon (Eastern time). In some cases this time can be extended. If any item is on back order, you will be notified. For purposes of expedited shipping, please be advised that UPS does NOT deliver on holidays or weekends (i.e. Saturday and Sunday). A Next Day order placed on Saturday will not be delivered until Tuesday. PLEASE NOTICE: If a shipment is refused, buyer will be charged the shipping fee plus any fees associated with the returned package in addition to a 15% restocking fee. In case of package re-routing or of an incomplete/incorrect shipping address, there is a charge for UPS address correction. DAMAGED GOODS Return/Refund Policy:SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER IS NEEDED FOR ITEMS DROP-SHIPPED BY OUR SUPPLIERS. PLEASE CONTACT US FOR THE RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE NOTICE: ONCE A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER IS ISSUED, ITEM(S) MUST BE RETURNED IMMEDIATELY. ALL RETURNS FOR CREDIT MUST BE DONE WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION TO OUR 30-DAY POLICY. The sender is responsible for the shipping charges. In case of defective or wrong merchandise, a replacement will be sent upon receipt of the item in question. International customers must pay for shipping both ways if a replacement is needed. If for any reason, you wish to return a product, returns will only be accepted if the item is (1) in "like new" condition without any signs of change or modification from its original "like new" condition, (2) returned with all of its contents and packaging placed into an outer carton to preserve the condition of the original box, (3) returned with all instructions, warranties and accessories that were in the original shipment to buyer, and (4) a copy of the return form (if available) must be included. We reserve the right to refuse the item(s) or charge a penalty if any of the above are missing in the returned package. We cannot accept returns of items that have been used on or in the body due to FDA Regulations and standard Infection Control Procedures. Opened computer software and hearing aid batteries are non returnable. |
